The all new Duck Territory is built on a partnership with ESPN and other top college sites dedicated to the distribution of the real University of Oregon sports news based on factual reporting. Real Oregon sports news based on facts gathered by our own team of reporters, under the direction of Tony Di Francisco and our editorial staff.

Tony Di Francisco's Bio

Former Rivals.com writer Tony Di Francisco has been named senior writer for a new website devoted to covering University of Oregon athletics. The ESPN-affiliated DuckTerritory.com debuts May 21, 2009.

Tony joins Impact Sports after four years with DuckSportsAuthority.com.  He served as a moderator, writer and recruiting analyst covering northwest camps and combines.  Tony brings his unparalleled passion for recruiting and an exceptional knowledge of college football to DuckTerritory.

Tony also works as a conference coordinator and enjoys his time with his wife and two children.  He is now a civilian after completing eight years in the U.S. Army.  Di Francisco was in the initial advance of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 3rd Infantry Division and is renowned for his solid work ethic and values such as integrity, duty, respect, leadership, selfless service and a strong belief in teamwork.
