One of the biggest area’s of need in the past few recruiting cycles the past few seasons as been defensive tackle for the Oregon Ducks. They’ve signed multiple high caliber players who couldn’t get into Oregon, missed out on a few other high caliber, and have brought in only a few junior college and under the radar type kids the past few seasons. While the Ducks have certainly seen an amazing performance from their defensive tackle group the need is still there to sign some tackles to help keep the cupboard full.

While the Ducks efforts for the 2010 class is still an ongoing process the Ducks appear to be headed in the right direction with one defensive tackle for the 2011 class.

Kevin McReynolds (Washington DC/St. Johns’s College High) has become a hot target for the Ducks in the early stages of the 2011 class. DuckTerritory.com caught up with the 6’3 280 pound tackle who sports a recorded 4.9 forty and to see where he currently stands.

“Oh man I get a ton of mail from the Ducks right now,” said McReynolds. “I am getting anywhere from five pieces of mail during the week to 10. I know for sure I get something every day it seems like and the fact they are sending me so much interest you have to take them seriously.”
