Written by Tony Di Francisco, This weekend is the annual Oregon NIKE Camp at the University of Oregon. Held in the Moshofsky center and the outdoor practice fields, the camp brings together most of the top regional college football prospects and some national prospects as well. This year looks to be one of the most talented group in awhile. DuckTerritory will be there to cover the camp as well as preview it. Throughout the week, we'll release some of the top prospects who are planning on attending and include the ESPN/Scouts, Inc. evaluation to go with those prospects (if available). We'll continue today with 6-12.... OL Mike Marboe, Wenatchee, WA… Base, reach, double team and blocks back while keeping low pads and a solid base. Could put on some overall strength but is a fighter and keeps legs moving and digging till the whistle blows. Short arms are a little bit of hindrance in terms of pass protection but he sits back and anchors down establishing a good base and positioning. Offensive guards help secure the "A" gaps in pass protection. Does a very good job of picking up line stunts and blitzes in pass protection. Marboe is a hard working offensive lineman that is sound at the fundamentals of line play and gives exceptional effort; sustains and finishes well. DT Sione Potoa’e, Lakewood, WA… He has the ability to locate the ball and shed. Does a good job of trying to attack half-a-man and is capable of rooting himself in the gap and also getting some penetration. Displays solid overall power and while not having ideal size should be able to take on bigger blockers. Pursues to the ball. He is a solid wrap-up tackler though he can attack the ball carrier high at times or overrun the ball. As a pass rusher he can be troublesome as he can bull rush his way back. He is able to generate power from his lower body and extend with his arms. He does a solid job of being able to shed from the blocker once he gets initial push, but would like to see him keep developing his pass rushing skills and be more active with his weapons. With his initial quickness he could become more diverse and dangerous if he can expand past just the bull rush. Potoa'e is a good prospect. He may not blow you away in any one facet of his game, but he does check-in well in all them. He has solid size, good motor, good technique and should be able to develop into a productive starter. LB Darius Waters, Lakewood, WA… We could see him staying at end in college or possibly moving to outside linebacker. As an end he displays a good get-off. Despite lacking great bulk he is a physical kid who is tough at the point of attack. Displays the ability to come out of his stance low and generate power from the hips on contact and stand up bigger blockers and at times knock them back. He displays good strength and will use his hands to separate and shed. Does a good job of being able to stay square and squeeze down. He displays a good closing burst to the ball and is a good wrap-up tackler. As a pass rusher he can attack the outside shoulder and will use his weapons to try and work past the blocker. A move to linebacker could be possible as his build is more ideal. He displays the ball skills for the position and can play in a phone booth as he is physical and active with his hands to shed. We could see him stand up on run downs and put his hand on the ground in passing situations. Waters is a good prospect as is a good football player and offers some versatility. DB Greg Watson, Rancho Cucamonga, CA… http://www.duckterritory.com/football/football-recruiting/108-greg-watson-has-a-leader
At times has a little trouble changing direction bout is reactive and instinctive. As a running back is a slasher that follows his blockers and makes good cuts without losing speed. Strong enough runner to break tackles but doesn't have quite the speed to pull away and take it the distance on a regular basis. Displays very good hands and can catch the ball on flares and out of the backfield; shows the ability to make the difficult reception. A valuable special teams player as a returner and coverage man. Fields the football and heads upfield showing the talent to make positive yards along with the toughness to take a hit. On the coverage unit, can defeat and avoid blockers to make a play on the returner. Bethley is a very solid football player that can be a major contributor to his team at the next level. ATH Kenneth Acker, Portland, OR… Is left-handed and while his delivery mechanics are awkward, he is fairly accurate overall and makes good decisions with the ball. Winds up with a 3/4 delivery and will push the ball just a bit. Shows adequate-to-good zip on underneath throws and is a calm, balanced passer from within the pocket. Shows poise and confidence in his play and his leadership skills are evident. Plays like the play is never over and he is always working to keep things alive and find ways to move the chains. He is never going to be a powerful, downfield passer with great velocity. His arm will only take him so far, but his athleticism and ability to throw on the run makes him dangerous when he breaks contain. He can throw of balance and across his body when on the move and is always a threat to tuck the ball. Shows good foot speed and quickness on the run. He can change directions suddenly, he is elusive and fluid in his movements and once he gets into the open field he shows very good top end speed. If at the FCS level he could probably remain at QB in the right scheme, but for the non-BCS Div. I level Acker would need to move to another skill position to have a chance. ATH Isaac Winters, Spanaway, WA… Demonstrates the talents to be a very good I formation tailback; accelerates through the holes and keeps balance fighting for extra yards. Possesses good speed but outstanding quickness and is a sound return specialist. Defensively shows good lateral quickness and takes proper angles to the football. Uses the sideline to his advantage and takes excellent angles to the football. Hot and cold as a tackler. Better at making angle tackles than straight on hits. Tends to be too high when tackling; needs to be a better knee bender and explode on contact. Alert and intelligent football player that is active and always around the football. Winters is a versatile athlete that is best suited to play on the offensive side of the football.

Threw for 2,506 yards and 18 touchdowns. Rushed for 859 yards and 11 more scores. First team all-state selection. No evaluation available yet but DuckTerritory did get a hold of Watson today...
Bethley is a versatile football player that can play offense, defense and special teams. He has good size and strength. Possesses decent straight line speed but not a real burner. On defense, a tough safety that is a reliable tackler in the openfield. Would like to see a little more fluid and loose in the hips but a very steady run support safety. Uses hands well to take on blockers and takes very good angles to the football when the runner breaks the perimeter.
