Brady LeafOne player who came to Oregon with big things in mind had to deal with a lot of adversity during his tenure as a Duck.  Despite multiple offensive coordinators and offensive systems and the emergence of Dennis Dixon, Brady Leaf stood strong and did his best to contribute to the Ducks success.  One thing Brady Leaf never did was think about leaving.  DuckTerritory caught up with the former Duck QB to see where he is at and his thoughts on his time at Oregon and the future of the Oregon football program.

Duck Territory- Where are you now and what have you been up to since leaving Oregon?

Brady Leaf- Since finishing with Oregon, I moved to Alaska and worked as a deep sea fishing guide for 8 months in Resurrection Bay out of the city of Seward. After that I met up with a friend in Germany and back packed through 15 countries throughout Europe. Truly a great experience. I have since moved to Orange County 5 months ago and I am working for an integrated services company called Nexus.

-------------------

DT- Best memories from Oregon?

BL- My best memories from Oregon are the relationships I built with coaches, teammates, and fans. The people I met at Oregon will forever be a part of my life.

-------------------

DT- Favorite game and favorite play as a Duck?

BL- I would have to say my favorite game was against Cal my sophomore year at home when we won in OT. I threw my first touchdown as a Duck. My favorite play was the catch Jonathon Stewart made against USC at their house in the back of the end zone.

-------------------

DT- Worst game and worst play as a Duck?

BL- My worst game would have to be against Arizona my senior year. A lot of people were counting on me that game and I let my coaches, teammates, and most of all the fans down. Worst play would have to be the interception in the Holiday Bowl. It was a great game and came down to one last play but it was not good enough.

-------------------

DT- Are you still in touch with the Oregon program and how do you feel about the direction of the Duck football program?

BL- I keep in touch with some of the coaches and many of my teammates. Oregon has been a great program the last decade and they are continuing to get better. Chip will be great for the school and the city.

-------------------

DT- What does the future hold for Brady Leaf? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

BL- I’m can’t say where I will be for sure in 5 years but I do know I am going to continue to travel. There is nothing like visiting new places.

-------------------

DT- Do you think you guys were the best team in 2007? How tough was it to watch it all fall apart with all of you guys going down with injuries?

BL- We were definitely one of the best in the country. I wish things could have turned out differently. It was difficult to see all the guys that worked so hard for years to get to that situation and see it end with multiple injuries.

-------------------

DT- You stuck around despite the switch to the spread. What made you stay and are you glad you did?

BL- I am very glad I stayed. Not only did I commit to myself personally to play for Oregon but I committed to my teammates, coaches, and fans. I would not change anything from my college experience.

-------------------

DT- Do you miss the game of football? Any thoughts of giving it another run?

BL- I miss football every day, and would have enjoyed to continue playing. But with injuries and the day to day wear and tear, I think my body will appreciate that I stopped playing in about 20 years.

-------------------

DT- Anything you want to say to all the Duck fans out there?

BL- You are the best fans in the country. The loudest, most passionate fans in the country. I will tell you that I have built many friendships with opposing QB’s throughout my career and every one of them hated coming to Autzen.

Brady.. you didnt let any of us down in that game.. the fact that you continued to go out there on the field after having that ankle rolled up on so badly was amazing...It was tough night for all of you guys out there.. and it was tough as a fan to watch knowing you guys had all worked so hard for the opportunity that was sitting there for the taking. Not much you can do about injuries though.. and as they say.. that is how the old ball bounces sometimes.. it was still one of (if not the) greatest runs in Oregon football history.

Good Luck Fellow Duck!
